Refund & Returns Policy – Indigo Ethnics

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Return Shipping Cost (United Kingdom):
Customers are responsible for return shipping cost unless the item is defective or incorrect.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll provide return instructions, including where and how to send your package. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement and before processing begins are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations requested after 24 hours are subject to a 30% processing fee, to cover non-recoverable processing and payment gateway charges.

  • Orders that are already under processing or dispatched are not eligible for cancellation or refunds.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Customers must provide digital evidence (photos or videos) within 48 hours of delivery so we can assess and resolve the issue.

Important Considerations

1. Color & Description Variations
Minor color or design variations may occur due to photography lighting or screen settings. Such variations do not qualify as defects.

2. Embellishment Disclaimer
Products with beads, sequins, or similar embellishments may experience slight loosening during transit. This is considered normal and not a defect.

3. Sizing & Fit
Sizing may vary by supplier and style. Customers must refer to the product-specific size chart before ordering.
The Global Size & Measurement Guide is for reference only and does not replace product-level size charts.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Customized, made-to-order, or stitched products

  • Readymade sarees with customized blouses

  • Personal care or beauty products

  • Products under the Arts & Crafts category

  • Perishable goods

Sale items are non-returnable unless defective or damaged on arrival.
Gift cards are non-returnable.

Exchanges

To exchange an item, please initiate a return. Once approved, place a new order for the replacement item.

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped into the European Union, customers may cancel or return their order within 14 days, provided the item is unused and in original condition.
This right does not apply to customized, made-to-order, or stitched products.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Refunds are issued after deducting non-recoverable payment processing and administrative costs, where applicable.
Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
For orders with free shipping, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

Return Address (International Returns)

International return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
