At Indigo Ethnics, we are committed to providing a smooth and reliable shopping experience for our UK customers. Every order is carefully processed, packed, and shipped with attention to quality and safety.
This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are handled and delivered to customers in the United Kingdom.
Shipping Destination
We currently ship orders across the United Kingdom.
Customers must provide a complete street address with a valid postcode to ensure successful delivery.
Deliveries cannot be made to P.O. Boxes.
Delivery Conditions
Deliveries are generally made from Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.
For residential addresses, customers are advised to ensure someone is available to receive the parcel. In some cases, couriers may leave the shipment at a safe location or with a neighbor, according to their standard delivery practices.
Saturday delivery may be available in select areas and may involve an additional charge, depending on location and service availability.
Order Processing
Orders are processed within 48–72 hours of placement, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
Estimated dispatch and delivery timelines are shown at checkout, based on the selected shipping method and destination.
Once an order has been shipped, customers will receive an email with tracking details.
Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active after dispatch.
Packaging
All items are securely packed using protective materials and sturdy corrugated boxes.
Orders weighing more than 30 kg are shipped in reinforced wooden crates to ensure safe transit and compliance with shipping and customs requirements, where applicable.
Fragile or heavy items may receive additional protective reinforcement.
Shipping Charges (United Kingdom)
Shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on the total package weight of the order.
We work with reputed international courier partners to ensure reliable and trackable delivery.

Shipping is charged based on actual weight or volumetric weight (package size), whichever is higher, as per international courier standards.

Note:
Standard shipping rates apply to orders weighing up to 30 kg per box.
Orders exceeding 30 kg will be shipped in multiple cartons or require a manual shipping quote, depending on size and product type.
Wooden crating may be used for heavy or fragile items where required for safe transit.
Transit Times
Delivery to most UK addresses typically occurs within 5–8 business days from dispatch.
Remote or out-of-delivery-area locations may take longer.
All shipments include tracking and proof of delivery.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
All shipments are accompanied by customs-compliant documentation.
Any applicable import duties or VAT are determined by UK customs authorities and are the responsibility of the customer.
Orders with a total value over £135 (including shipping) may be subject to UK customs duties and VAT, payable by the customer upon delivery, as per UK regulations.
Product prices do not include customs duties or VAT, where applicable.
Delays and Transit Issues
While we work with reliable shipping partners, unforeseen delays may occur due to factors such as customs inspections, weather conditions, or operational disruptions.
Once delivery is confirmed by courier tracking and proof of delivery, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the recipient.
In the event of a shipment being lost during transit, an investigation will be initiated with the courier. Resolution may take up to 15 business days, after which a refund or reshipment will be processed based on the investigation outcome.
Multiple Deliveries
Orders containing multiple items may be shipped separately to ensure safe handling.
Tracking details for each shipment will be shared by email.
Address Changes
Requests to modify shipping addresses are accepted within 24 hours of placing the order.

Returns Due to Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
Shipments returned due to incomplete or incorrect addresses may incur reshipping charges, which must be paid before re-dispatch.
Damaged Shipments
If an order arrives damaged:
